EMAW
All decked out in our K-State apparel today to support our beloved Cats as they take on the Huskers!! I love that the kids get so excited to cheer for the Cats even if they don't really understand what all is going on. Sure wish we could all take in the game in person tonight but I don't think that I'd get to see much of it with three kids so we'll settle for watching it on T.V. And for those not quite fluent in Wildcat language, EMAW stands for Every Man A Wildcat. :)

Baby Food
YUCK pretty sums up Logan's thoughts on cereal or baby food. He sees the spoon headed his way and the arms start flailing around and the lips pucker up tight. Now, give him some food on his tray for him to feed himself and he is happy as a clam to eat it. I think we've exhausted our attempts on getting the pureed junk into him and we'll stick to self feeding chunks.
Andrew's sleeping habits
You never know where you will find this one when it comes time for sleeping. Here he has drug everything out into the hallway and is fast asleep. It is not an uncommon thing to find him in the closet or under his bed. Most nights he can be found on the floor most likely without a pillow or cover but it never seems to phase him. With the weather getting a little cooler now, we are going to have to pull out some warmer pajamas for this silly boy!
Soccer
This is Lauren's first time to play soccer. She thinks it is tons of fun! Her team name is 'Stars'. Here they are lined up doing drills before a game. We only have one more game left for the season which is a good thing as it is a little chilly at 8:45 in the morning now.
She especially enjoys taking her turn as goalie.

Andrew can't wait for next spring for his first chance to get out on the field.

First day of school
Today is Lauren's 5th birthday and her first day of Kindergarten. She told me on the way to school this morning that she was a little nervous but you'd never had known it once we got there. She trucked it right into her classroom, put her backpack away and headed for her seat. I snapped a couple pictures and then she happily waved good-bye to the boys and I. I'm so glad that she enjoys school. Her new classmates made her a big card for her special day.
We'll be taking in treats tomorrow. We are required to bring in prepackaged items and it's breakin' my heart. I so enjoy baking treats with the kids to take. At least, I still have preschool to bake for!
Picnic Fun
Birthday Fun!
