Today is Lauren's 5th birthday and her first day of Kindergarten. She told me on the way to school this morning that she was a little nervous but you'd never had known it once we got there. She trucked it right into her classroom, put her backpack away and headed for her seat. I snapped a couple pictures and then she happily waved good-bye to the boys and I. I'm so glad that she enjoys school. Her new classmates made her a big card for her special day.
We'll be taking in treats tomorrow. We are required to bring in prepackaged items and it's breakin' my heart. I so enjoy baking treats with the kids to take. At least, I still have preschool to bake for!
