Logan - 4 months

Logan had his 4 month check up yesterday. He now weighs 16 lbs 1 oz (73%) and is 26.5 inches long (90%). We continue to fight the reflux and eczema but other than that he is doing great.

New things for him . . .

• playing with his feet
• grabbing for toys and bringing them to his mouth
• rolling (still perfecting that one)
• rockin' out in the exersaucer
• blowing raspberries
• lots of talking and screaming
• laughing

We feel so blessed to have added such a happy child to our family.

Three Amigos

Why is it so hard to look at mommy and smile?!?!? This is the best we could manage. . .

3 Months

According to our scales, this little guy is up to 14 lbs 11 oz. I also measured him at 24.5 inches. He's definitely growing!! When we brought Logan home and I pulled out all the clothes that I had boxed up from Andrew, I couldn't understand why there were so few 0-3 and 3-6 month clothes . . . now I understand. Logan is currently wearing 6-9 month clothes and 9-12 sleepers. Andrew blew through the sizes as well. Logan is a little behind Andrew's stats at this age.

Logan is still a very happy baby and loves to watch Lauren & Andrew play. They do a great job of keeping him entertained. He is sleeping through the night and that is amazing! Lauren & Andrew were MUCH older when they tackled that milestone. And here is his latest trick . . . thumb sucking. While it is quite cute, it isn't something that I'm advocating.

Preschool Graduation

Preschool is over for one little lady! She had such a great time during her two years there. She is so ready for Kindergarten to start. She really thought that the day after graduation she would be starting Kindergarten so you can imagine her disappointment when she learned that she would be spending 3 months at home w/ me and her brothers.

We have several activities planned for this summer like baton twirling, soccer, library reading program, spray park trips, etc. so I think the time will fly by.

At Logan's 2 month check up, he weighed 12 lbs 13 oz and was 23.5 inches long putting him in the 81st & 70th percentile. We are still dealing w/ some reflux and eczema issues but both are greatly improving with the prescribed medication. The reflux medication just neutralizes the acid so the spit up he does have isn't painful for him. While that is wonderful, I do wish we could control the amount of spit up that comes out of him. He goes through at least 3 outfits a day and usually one for me or dad. My laundry pile has grown!
